The Waynesboro Lions Club hosted their first of two chicken BBQs during the month of April. 

On Sunday, April 14th, the club welcomed Fat Russ BBQ on site at the Renfrew pavilion to serve guests with a delicious meal of a half chicken, mac and cheese, coleslaw, and roll. 

Thank you to the Lions who sold ticket and to the 9 Lions who volunteered part of their Sunday to make the event a success.  The Club was able to sell 171 out of 200 tickets and made a profit of $616.00. 

The Club plans to hold another BBQ on August 11th where we will serve pulled pork, mac and cheese, coleslaw, and a honey corn muffin.  Let your friends and family know!  Tickets coming soon.
