I would like to thank Lions Mike Imbler, Rocky Simpson and Deb Kraemer for their dedication and commitment to beautifying our Great Town of Greentown. They planted a tree at the beginning of the Comet Trail over by the Ball Diamond and Bridgeon behalf of the Greentown Lions. The Tree has been named Jolene in honor of Jolene Rule. (Lion Mike was even caught sitting on the ground — rumor has it that he tried to “jump” on the shovel—thankfully he was ok before the laughing broke out)
Lots of work has been going on at the Fairgrounds and it is coming alive!! Painting, paving, bathroom remodeling and so much more. If you are handy and would like to help and haven’t because you don’t know who to ask, PLEASE get ahold of me and I will get you in touch with the right people!
With the Fair just a couple of months away, please start planning on how you can help. We have so many committees that there is something for everyone. It does not matter if you are young or old, any and all help is greatly appreciated and enjoyed!! The Fair is for EVERYONE!
Please remember to say a Prayer for our fellow Lions who have been dealing with sickness and health issues.
As always, if you need anything, PLEASE contact me!
Karyl Spencer
