7th Annual Roar on the Shore Brewfest

Roar on the Shore The Kewaunee and Dyckesville Lions clubs announce our seventh annual Roar On The Shore Beer and Wine Festival with our major sponser Hall's Calf Ranch will be held on March 23, 2013.

Our annual festival features regionally brewed craft beers and wines, as well as well known craft brewed beers from well-known small breweries across Wisconsin and Michigan.

This year's beer and wine festival will be held at the Kewaunee County Fairgrounds located in Luxemburg, Wisconsin. The exhibition hall at the fairgrounds is an excellent facility offering great lighting, indoor restrooms, plenty of space and it is heated. The extra space offered by our new venue will enable us to invite more vendors to our festival. We are looking forward to the new beverages that we will be able to sample.

Doors open at 2:00 PM and the festival closes at 6:00 PM. Tickets are limited to 750 attendees. Tickets are $35 in advance and $40 at the door. Designated driver tickets are $5 and allow designated drivers to drink free soda (including craft-made root beer) all evening long. Ticket price for beer drinkers include a commemorative glass.

All proceeds from this event benefit the charitable and civic improvement activities of the Kewaunee and Dyckesville Lions Clubs. Lions Clubs International is the world’s largest service organization.

Lodging

We encourage our guests to stay at one of the following locations in Kewaunee. We will be providing bussing from Kewaunee to the Roar on the Shore Brewfest in Luxemburg. Bussing will be free however you will need to register on our site or at one of the bussing locations. The Kewaunee Inn and Harbor Lights Lodge are within one block of pickup and drop off spots of the buses.

    Our ticket presales are now done. Tickets will be available at the door for purchase for $40.


    Transportation

    The Kewaunee Lions Club is offering free bus rides from Kewaunee to Luxemburg for the paid attendees of the Roar on the Shore brewfest. We are planning on having buses depart from The Cork, The Blue Door, Port O'Call and Harbour Express. You must have signed up in advance to guarantee a spot on a bus.
