Frequently Asked Questions

What is a Lions Club ?

A Lions Club is a group of community minded individuals, often business owners and out-going people who want to make the community better within the guidlines of the Lions Club Charter. To Serve the Community thru projects involving Sight, Hearing, Guide Dogs, and donating (time and materials) to make projects happen that make life better for the citizens of Kewaunee. To contribute time and materials for the Wisconsin Lions Camp for the blind, visually impaired, deaf or hard of hearing. To help with the international Lions Clubs Community in times of disaster with money and as requested materials.

The members pay annual dues and for each meetings meal, so all funds raised in the community go for community projects to benefit the community, for state and international humanitarian efforts thru the Lions. There are Lions Clubs around the world so when a disaster happens, Lions are already there to coordinate the Lions relief funds and efforts.

The Lions Club is not a religous or political organization. Please see the Lions Club website for more infromation

The Kewaunee Lions Club has been very fortunate to have had many GRRREAT members and "friends of the Lions" who have given of themselves to the Kewaunee community thru the Kewaunee Lions Club.
