The theme for this 2009 27-B2 Convention is "Honoring Those Who Serve". Friday nite was named USO Night, and the USO was there to explain there mission to Service Men and Women around the World.
Lions District 27-B2 covers 12 counties including 72 Lions Clubs in Northeastern Wisconsin. The Lions Clubs include Lions, Lioness and Leo's. The counties are Florence, Forest, Langlade, Marinette, Menominee, Oconto, Shawano, Waupaca, Outagamie, Brown, Door and Kewaunee.
The 27-B2 annual Convention took place on November 6-7, 2009 at "The Meadows/Country Inn & Suites (920) 288-0101, 850 Kepler Drive, on the east side of Green Bay adjacent to I-43 at the _ exit. The Convention started on Friday afternoon with registration and continued into the evening with a Veterans Groups, USO evening to create a mutual understanding of each others missions and learn how to help each other and about referrals for services to each other.

Following the tabletop exhibits by the Veterans Groups, an evening of Lions festivities followed with opening speakers, band, dancing, and raffles.
On Saturday, November 6 there were District meetings of Lions, Lioness and Leo Club's Officers and represenatatives.
The 2010 District Convention will be hosted by the Dyckesville and Kewaunee Lions Clubs in the same location on _ .
